DGS Members at RootsTech 2011

Several DGS members will be attending and presenting at the RootsTech 2011 conference that will be held in Salt Lake City February 10-12:

  • Sandra Crowley (VP Membership) is making several presentations: ‘Toy Story – Electronic tools for genealogists’ and ‘Lights, Camera, Action!’
  • Kathleen Murray is presenting the results of her research at UNT titled ‘Collaborating with Genealogists to Redesign a Digital Library’
  • Tony Hanson (Webmaster) is chairing a Birds of the Feather session titled ‘An Exploration of the Integration of Social Networking Technologies into the Core Activities of Genealogical Societies’ (See the Family Search Wiki page created for this session).

All three of us will be posting to this blog about our experiences while we are attending the conference…
