2013 DGS Writing Contest Invites Entries |

Here’s your opportunity to preserve some of your family history, receive recognition for your work, and possibly win a cash award as well. The contest is open to hobbyists and professionals, and to both members and non-members of DGS. Awards of $500, $300, and $150 will be given to the top three entries. Among the judges will be J. Mark Lowe, a professional genealogist and lecturer. Deadline for entries is August 31, 2013. Awards will be announced at the DGS Annual Awards Luncheon in December.
