All genealogists know that there is always more to learn about the fascinating topic of genealogy. To assist our members in their on-going education the Dallas Genealogical Society provides numerous opportunities to learn:
- Each General Meeting features a presentation by an expert in genealogical or historical research.
- Each Special Interest Group meeting provides information on a more specific topic.
- DGS members receive discounted admission for two seminars (February and July) hosted by the DGS featuring presentors who are nationally recognized experts in their fields.
- Each year in October, the DGS leads a group of DGS Members on a trip to Salt Lake City for research at the Family History Library the largest genealogical repository in the world.
